Sugar helps Lilly Pulitzer celebrate 50 colorful years

On May 2nd, Sugar joined Lilly boutiques across the country to celebrate her 50th Anniversary by hosting a colorful Jubilee party! At this party you could find everything Lilly! From Lilly sunglasses & stationary, to tableware and mommy & me outfits! Sugar teamed up with Blossom Shoes & Such and Rock Paper Scissors & Top it Off of The Alcoves to provide customers with tons of Lilly all in one place!

Scrumptious desserts and punch were served and customers made their entrance on a pink carpet while posing for the papparrazi.

Holiday Showcase Raises Thousands for Cancer Fund

The recent 3rd Annual Holiday Showcase raised nearly $4000 for the Greenwood Cancer Fund, a partner agency of United Way and a local, non-affiliated, non-profit organization dedicated to helping local Greenwood cancer patients with cancer treatment logistics and costs.

Organized by the Greenwood Chapter of the National Business & Professional Women (BPW), the Holiday Showcase is themed to help raise breast cancer awareness and has grown in size each year by demand of local merchants that want to encourage local consumers to “keep the green in Greenwood.”  This year’s Holiday Showcase featured 43 local merchants showcasing diverse holiday merchandise that ranged from hi-def TVs and fine jewelry to golf carts, spa luxuries, and home décor. More than 200 attended the affair at Inn on the Square, highlighted by several dozen quality door prizes, specialty foods from ten restaurant/caterers and a silent auction.  This is the first year that merchants were welcome to sell their wares on site, giving guests the option to browse or buy.

Business of the Week

sugar was just nominated Greenwood Chamber of Commerce’s "Business of the Week" by local shoppers in the area. This is an exciting achievement since we were nominated for our exceptional customer service.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

sugar finally had it’s official ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, April 11th. A special thank you to CountyBank–without their help, this wouldn’t be possible. Also, CountyBank Insurance, Uptown Greenwood, Greenwood Chamber of Commerce, and my awesome family and friends who assisted me through this process.
